Charles René d'HOZIER, son of Pierre of HOZIER, helped him in his
research, succeeded to him in the charged of judge of arms and was
named genealogist of the king.
He published the Grand Armorial of France established on order of Louis
XIV in 1696. This one containss 120,000 painted blazons.
